CeCe Moore, who has been at the forefront of the investigative genetic genealogy field, was brought into the case, and a long-overdue breakthrough soon followed. On Wednesday morning at 8:30a all CrimeCruise detectives will gather with Dr. Lee to discuss their findings, learn how an expert would assess the scene, and hear about the real-life case that inspired this mystery.

Please Note: This is not a session, it's a walkthrough experience. While you're welcome to visit as often as you'd like, please note that only a limited number of detectives will be allowed into the scene at a time. If there is a wait, we recommend returning during our other available windows:

    • Monday, 5/1: 1:30-3:30p and 6-8p

THIS SESSION IS FOR VIP BADGE HOLDERS ONLY.

Part 1 of 2. Join the one-and-only Sheryl “Mac” McCollum as we dive deep (while staying dry!)  into an unsolved murder that needs our attention. Through case files, crime scene photos, and never-before-released details, you’ll join Mac (and a few surprise, expert guests) to lay fresh eyes on a puzzling cold case. As always, Mac and her team at the Cold Case Investigative Research Institute are eager to take any new theories, leads, or ideas we develop right back to the detectives in charge of the case.

Please Note: CrimeCruise Ride Along Part 2 will be on Wednesday, 5/3 at 2:00p.

    ✶ Location: Theater

    ✶ Deck: 4 & 5

    ✶ Speaker: Paul Holes

In this two-part double session, former cold case investigator Paul Holes will take us through two of his most memorable cases. The Enemy You Know is the story of a sexual assault survivor. Paul will discuss the harrowing details around how one brave woman fought back against her attacker. He’ll describe the specific things that we can all do to give ourselves the best chance at not becoming a victim.

After a short break, Paul will present Who is Lisa? This is a case that had puzzled Paul for many years: an abandoned, 6-year-old girl and a female homicide victim share ties to the same man, but the identity of the little girl was a mystery. In 2017, Paul and other investigators cracked the case and the girl finally learned her true identity. But pay close attention, because the girl’s connection to a serial killer is a twist that no one sees coming.
