KATHERINE RAMSLAND
Dr. Katherine Ramsland teaches forensic psychology and behavioral criminology in the graduate program at DeSales University, where she is a professor emerita. She has appeared as an expert on more than 300 crime documentaries and podcasts, and was an executive producer on Murder House Flip, A&E’s docuseries Confession of a Serial killer: BTK, and ID/HBO’s docuseries The Serial Killer’s Apprentice.
The author of more than 2,000 articles and 75 books, including Confession of a Serial Killer, The Serial Killer’s Apprentice, The Mind of a Murderer, and How to Catch a Killer, she pens a regular blog for Psychology Today. She has also written a crime fiction series about a female forensic psychologist, Annie Hunter, and has penned two books with her horse, the “Palomino PI.” Riding and horse care are how she unwinds from analyzing dark minds. Her forthcoming memoir is Dark Places: My Secret Life with Killers.
